Baldness is a condition that refers to excessive hair loss from the scalp of a person. Some people make it a style statement while others try to cover it up by using makeup, wig, hairstyles, scarves etc. Bald people can regain hair through medication and surgery. Baldness is not a disease but it is a condition.

Normal hair fall is approximately 100-125 hairs per day. Fortunately, these hairs are replaced. Normally, when hair falls out, new hairs start forming in the same place as the old ones. But when someone has hair loss, the hairs don’t grow back.
